View Appointment Documents Initial examinations by a Veterinary Dentist are primarily scheduled in the mornings and typically are 20 to 30 minutes in length.

DO NOT FEED your pet after 10:00pm the night before the appointment. Water should be withheld from dogs after 6:00am as well. Oral medications may be given the morning of the appointment, with a small amount of water if necessary.

Please bring the following:

The Veterinary Dentist will discuss any concerns that you have, as well as their findings after examination and recommended treatment plan.  A copy of the treatment plan and associated cost will be provided.

At the conclusion of any examinations or dental treatments, our Veterinary Dentist will contact your family veterinarian if you have one and provide a report summarizing the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up recommendations.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please do so a minimum of 48 hours in advance. This will allow our doctors to see and provide treatment for other patients sooner, some of which may be on a waiting list.

Visit our Advanced Dentistry and Oral Surgery page for more information on veterinary dental specialty services and pet dental care for your canine or feline companion. In addition, see Feline Dentistry page for cat specific issues.
